Welcome Back
It's good to have you back Kim, Rowan is not the same without you. Can we have more soon, please?

Hi Teresa,
I hadn't actually noticed there was anything new on the site. I think that the new collection demonstrates exactly how much of the Rowan house style was actually Kim's own style. The colour photography of the collection is especially beautiful, as is the colour palette chosen for the design of the site itself. Stylewise, I think she nailed it for what her target customer wants, but I'm a little tired of shrugs and frills. Working closer to the season I expected something a touch more fashion forward.
Perhaps I'm biased, but I'm not very fond of what the new Rowan team has produced lately. For me, it lacks a signature style and I find the garments a little dull. Maybe Winter will be better...

I've got the kit for that green cardi and I love it, everything is beautifully packaged and the lace pattern is easy to follow. What do you think of the winter selection that has just gone on the site?

I don't think so. It looks to me like bands of knit/purl welting interruped every now and then with a cuple of rows of lace eyelets.

Is the white cardigan crocheted? I love that!
You see so few really nice crochet patterns.

Interesting. I've read a few favourable reviews about this range and I don't get it. I must be missing something. The designs are ok, but there isn't anything I would knit. I think selling in kit form as well ie without just offering patterns is disappointing.
